What We Offer

Rely on us for Slip-Safe, a product that will microscopically alter your tile flooring’s surface and make it safer to walk on even when wet. We also sell safety mats.

About Slip-Safe

Our product utilizes a chemical reaction to enlarge the natural pores of your tiles. This process then creates microscopic holes that work similarly to the suction cups that you use to stick objects to windows, making your floor slip resistant.

Proven Safe and Hygienic

Studies have shown that slip and fall accidents in hotel bathrooms and homes have been reduced dramatically with the use of slip-resistant treatments like Slip-Safe. Using this product also eliminates the need for unhygienic bath mats, making your place cleaner and safer.

Appearance After Treatment

Your floor may appear different after it had been treated with Slip-Safe but the slight change wouldn’t be comparable to the improvement that our product brings.

The Changes

From a distance, treated flooring will look similar to other tiled surfaces. However, upon further inspection, you may notice the following:

  • Shine: Some of your tiles’ gloss will be lost.

  • Colour: Some loss of colour may be apparent.

  • Oxidisation: This may cause a whitish tinge on your tiles. It will gradually lighten and disappear in time.

Note: Oxidisation may always be slightly noticeable on darker surfaces, such as black tiles.

Frequency of Cleaning

It is advised that you clean the area that has been treated by Slip-Safe whenever the surface becomes slippery. You may also sweep or scrub it depending on how often you use it.

You might have to clean the bathroom in your house at least once a week or every fortnight. On the other hand, you should tend to your commercial kitchen daily. For outside areas like verandas, patios, and pools, you can use a hose to clean it.

Cleaning Grimy Areas

Employing the proper cleaning method is important for stubborn, hard-to-clean particles, such as the following:

  • Soap and Body Fats Recesses in the Shower

  • Fats in Kitchen Floors

  • Floor Polish Transferred to the Treated Area Through Mopping

If the suction cups created by Slip-Safe are filled with particles, the treatment becomes ineffective in making your floor nonslip.

Blocked Hole = No Suction Cup = Slippery Floor

How to Clean It

An effective way to clean your grimy floor is by scrubbing the floor using a stiff broom and flushing it with water. Once the surface is totally clean, you will notice that it is slip-resistant again.

Remember not to wipe your treated floor. Wiping soap, fat, and oil residue only causes the particles to spread back into the holes eliminating the slip-resistant effect.

Cleaning Agents to Use

You can use our specialised cleaner or any pure soap on treated surfaces. Do not use substances with a polish component as it may block the suction cups.

Brown Vinegar

Brown Vinegar is excellent for cleaning tiles. It also helps restore the luster of treated tiles.

Eucalyptus

You can use eucalyptus to spot clean stubborn marks on your treated floor.

Slightly Acidic Cleaners

Citro and other slightly acidic cleaners, such as brown vinegar, are effective in eliminating soap scum. Use it in scrubbing the surface then flush it with water.

Cleaning Non-Grimy Areas

You can use regular cleaning methods for areas that are not grimy, such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, and hallways. Do this to get rid of dirt and fluff.

FAQs

Is It a Coating?

No, Slip-Safe is not a coating like other paint products. It is a clear liquid that causes a chemical reaction, which alters the surface of your tile flooring. This product will not peel or chip away.

Where Can It Be Used?

Slip-Safe can be applied to various areas in any residential and commercial properties. We will gladly treat your floors in the following:

  • Bathroom and Toilet
  • Veranda
  • Swimming Pool
  • Hallway
  • Laundry Room

Our product is safe to be used on different materials, including the following:

  • Tile
  • Terrazzo
  • Marble
  • Granite
  • Concrete
  • Slate
  • Paving Brick

How Long Will the Treatment Be?

The process of applying Slip-Safe on your bathroom floor can take up to two hours.

When Can I Use My Bathroom After Applying Slip-Safe?

You can use your bathroom immediately after the treatment.

How Long Will It Last?

Slip-Safe can only be worn away. In residential properties, the treatment will last from 5 to 10 years. It can also last as long as the tile, depending on how often the surface is used.

Is My Treatment Gone?

After six months or so, you may think that the treatment has become ineffective. However, treated surfaces only lose their nonslip properties when they are not being cleaned properly. You must keep your tile flooring clean at all times so the suction cups created by the treatment regain its effectiveness.
